As a custom home builder, we build homes for people, which have been planned especially to meet the individual needs and desires of our clients. As a Design/Build company, we have the professional staff with the ability to design your home around your criteria. However, you are more than welcome to bring in plans you have had others prepare for you. It’s your choice.

No. We are a custom home builder. All aspects of the home are customized to fit your tastes, needs and desires individually. Since this is the case, you will very directly set the price for your home, not just by the size requirements you need, but also by your selection of all of the materials that go into making your house a home. In addition, the diversity of the building sites in our area could have a large impact on construction costs as well.

Not necessarily. Being a custom builder means we have yet to build two homes the same. For this reason, every home has a different square foot cost. The majority of the cost of a home is in the finishes you select, and we will assist you in staying within your budget. You will determine the square foot cost of your home.

The time required to build a home is determined much by the material selection process, in so much that the more unique and handcrafted the design elements are, the more time is needed to put the elements together. We will be able to answer this question accurately once we have analyzed the scope of the project. Additionally, factors affecting completion may be impacted by adverse weather conditions or back ordered materials.

Because Heartland Contractors has done so much work in remodeling and additions, we have years of experience working in occupied homes. We know how disruptive a project like this can be and take steps to make it as comfortable and safe as possible for your family. We will communicate to you throughout the whole project when we will need to be in your occupied spaces, so that you can be prepared and have as little disruption as possible. Obviously, there will likely be inconveniences, and we will help you plan accordingly. We also promote a high degree of professionalism and courtesy from our employees and subcontractors so you will not feel uncomfortable having them around..

Heartland Contractors has an extensive list of Suppliers and Subcontractors. We only deal with local and national suppliers that offer the quality of materials needed for your project. Our Subcontractors are all seasoned professionals who must meet Heartland Contractors expectations for high standards and quality workmanship.

Our normal business hours are 8 to 4:30 Monday through Friday, or by appointment. We have a full office staff ready to assist you when you call. Our pledge to you is this: we will be available to you. You will not have to find us on an unlisted cell phone or track down our pickup to get a hold of us.

We have worked side-by-side with the local financial companies and can assist you with meeting with them to discuss the financial products they have available. Today, there are seemingly endless options for finance, which can be tailored to suit your individual needs.
